| Loony or not |
Aug 10, 2006 2:39 am 851 Views | | There is a guy at the train station and he lost his marbles. At least he acts like it. I am still not sure if he's for real. He sings out of nowhere, he talks to everyone and himself, he repeats -like a tantrum - the things that go on in his mind at that moment, but I also see him reading his newspaper without acting crazy. And from time to time he just talks with some people who give him attention. So what is the case with this guy? Is he really a loony or does he just act like one, because he either like to shock people or just likes the attention? It's still a mystery to me. But at least he isn't really bothering people with his funniness.

| Castlefest 2006 |
Aug 7, 2006 3:23 am 855 Views | Trolls, elves, gnomes, vampires, celtic warriors.. they were all present. Them and more. I was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. I wasn't anyone mythical. I was just humble me. It takes some time to dress-up as your favorite mythical figure. And I haven't reached that point yet, so for now I am just being myself, which isn't a bad thing either. So me and a friend visited a medieval festival this weekend. it was the second year and I liked it.. again. Not all festivals are good. The fact that they are medieval/fantasy doesn't give you any guarantees about what you will see. I've been to another one and that one was filled with coca-cola and burgers. My idea of a medieval festival is that you will get everything in style, so also the food, the plates, the cups etc. And Castlefest did deliver in that demand. Elf Fantasy didn't. So I was disappointed. But luckily Castlefest did live up to its expectations, so I had a good day. We walked around and looked at the many shops. I didn't buy anything, but i was tempted. Well i did buy a little bottle of mead, which is a medieval honey wine, and I loved it. I also bought some drinks and candy, but that's it. Not that i didn't want to buy anything, I just didn't had the need in actually doing it. Maybe next year, because I will return for sure. So we spend 5 hours in the sun, walking around, taking photos and enjoying the sceneries. I can recommend festivals like this to everyone.

| Spam |
Aug 4, 2006 3:01 am Mood: annoyed, 912 Views | What's up with the people behind the ever growing internet irritation called spam? Full of joy I opened my web mail account in the hope to find mails from lovely ladies or good friends or, well anything actually, but instead I got spam with a capital S. It's always the same spam. It's a new sender, but with the same message: enlarge your penis or buy our cheap medicine. Guys (or girls because they also seem to like to send spam), how do you know what the size of my penis is? And what if I just like it's current size? I don't need any drug to make it larger or get an erection. It's all working perfectly and if it wasn't, then I wouldn't tell you anyways. So don't spam me. Instead look at yourself and see if you need the stuff you are trying to dump on other people. I heard somewhere that 2% of the world population is actually buying from the spam mails. My question is why? Why buy from there when you know you can buy the same product in a much safer way, either at the local drugstore or get it through prescription from a doctor (which is by all means a much safer way to deal with drugs) Or just decide to ignore the pretended care of the guys (or girls) who are sending you unsolicited spam. They don't care. They like to sell. So stop caring for them. They don't deserve to get attention. They are as cheap as the product they are selling.

| My book |
Aug 2, 2006 12:09 am 898 Views | I am busy with writing my own book. It isn't for publishing or fame, even though thoughts like that have crossed my mind - of course why wouldn't I have thoughts of eternal fame, I am after all also human. But for now I would be happy if I am able to finish it. It's just 100 pages long at the moment, but I lost interest in it. I am missing a plot. It is about a young witch who has a little adventure with her friends. At the time I thought the subject of a witch would be pretty cool, especially since I wanted to keep it serious -more in the tradition of the real witches out there. But now I feel I need more. The book is also based on my own youth, so it is in a way recalling my past. I've forgotten so much of my former self that it seems I never existed. So in that aspect it is good to finish it. But i just need some good plotting. And I need to stay focused. I always get inspired by reading other books or seeing movies. But the danger is following that road. I need to stay on the path I am now and just finish it and then figure out what to do. But maybe there are people on here who have plot ideas? What would you like to see in a fantasy/witch-like/children's book (age 9-12 or so)?

| Hormones |
Aug 1, 2006 3:21 am Mood: confused, 892 Views | | It is summer and I notice it with many things. of course the most obvious is the golden sun high in the blue sky and seeing many people laughing and enjoying themselves, but the summer is also a season of hormones. According to studies July is the peek month for hormones. The guys fight for the girls attention and the girls decide who gets it or not. It is the month to pro curate, according to the scientist in the newspaper, it is the time for making love. I guess it is nature's plan since July is a sunny month and a good month for babies. But I can tell you that i don't like those hormones. I've been alone for quite some time and some times are harder then others, but in general my 'needs' are easy to control, but it seems that my body has a mind on it's own and it's getting harder to ignore. I hate that because it goes beyond my believes, my own values. But my body seem to miss out on some things and it lets me know in a urgent way that it needs it. So how to turn that off/ As said, I am not that kind of guy. I am a loyal and faithful guy who doesn't make love with anyone, just because of the fun of it. But these hormones think differently. All I can hope that it will pass. I am sure it will pass when the weather is getting worse.

| Mp3-player |
Jul 28, 2006 12:03 am Mood: annoyed, 891 Views | Why is it that people in crowded public places, like for instance the metro assume that other people like to hear what they are doing? I was in the metro up to my work this morning and a guy had his music up on the loudspeaker of his phone. We are getting newer models everyday, so this is a new feature since i cannot find it on my phone. I have a mp3-player build in, but it's only for internal use and not external as this guy was doing. I would call it abuse since I didn't ask for his type of rap-music and certainly not at 7.30 in the morning. It could be just me, but it seems that many people here in Holland are living only with themselves. It is if they don't care for the other people around them. Maybe next time I would just ask him if he can also play a tune I like So Andrea Bocelli it is hehe

| Thoughts |
Jul 26, 2006 12:42 am 810 Views | Lately I 'meet' people online and they seem to be interested in marriage. I always have doubts with a subject like that. Not that marriage isn't a wonderful thing, but I personally believe it cannot be done without being friends first and without getting to know each other a lot better then just through the exchange of a few e-mails. You need to have a good understanding of each other before you make a leap like that. But maybe it is because a lot of people are getting lonely these days. The world around is is getting tougher and people seem to be less open to each other. So it is hard to meet interesting people. I've been part of a Tai Bo group for two years. I wasn't there to find a partner for marriage, but I was there to make new friends. In the whole two years I never succeeded. I had some small talks, but that was it. Maybe I am closed-up too, but most people were gone home before I even could say something. So maybe people are lonely and maybe they see the mighty Internet as a easy and anonymous way to find a partner. You can hide yourself behind words and the other person only has those words to go by. There is no judgment of looks and that is very liberating for a lot of people, me included. People know you for who you truly are, that is if you don't lie. So let's assume people are honest to themselves. Honesty is very important on the net. You have to believe that the person you are talking to, is really the person you are talking to. I know there are exceptions, I know that there are people who like to lie for a living, but they are not worth talking about. It's a small group trying to destroy what others try to create and I think that we, the good people, have the power to stop it just by ignoring it. So what are your experiences and thoughts about this subject? Are you on the net for marriage or friendship? And if marriage, do you believe in friendship first and taking your time with it?

| Spanish adventures |
Jul 15, 2006 8:11 am 814 Views | | Well I am back among the living. Well I would say 'sorta' since I'm still tired. The weather in Holland feels about the same right now as it was in Spain and that is hot with a capital H. But did I like Spain? Yes I did. It is still a great country, with a great atmosphere, very cool scenery, nice people and great food. So I enjoyed it all, eventhough I had problems with the relaxing concept. I went with a friend and most of the time we drank Sangria, sat down - either near the beach or a pub - and talked about everyday life or the things we saw in front of us. But I had the restless feeling I should've been doing something exciting like throwning myself in the club scene or date the nice senoritas I saw almost everyday. But instead we both settled for a visit in the historic town Mijas, a very cool trip through the caves of Nerja, a daytrip to the old town Alhambra and a quick swim in the sea after spotting some dolphins there. Not bad though, but next year I want something more exciting.

| 75 yr old man................ |
Jul 13, 2006 11:55 pm Mood: amused, 802 Views | A 75-year-old man went to his doctor to get a sperm count. The Dr.gave him a jar, sent him home and told him to bring back a semen sample tomorrow.
The next day, the 75-year-old man returned to the doctor's office and gave him the jar, which was as clean and empty as on the previous day.
The doctor asked what happened, and the man explained, "Well, doc, it's like this. .. First I tried with my right hand, but nothing. Then I tried with my left hand, but still nothing. Then I asked my wife for help. She tried with her right hand, then her left, still nothing. She even tried with her mouth, first with the teeth in, then with her teeth out, and still nothing.
We even called up Arlene, the lady next door, and she tried too, first with both hands, then an armpit, and she even tried squeezing it between her knees, but still nothing."
The doctor was shocked. "You asked your neighbor!!??"
The old man replied, "Yep, but no matter what all three of us tried, with our arthritis, we still couldn't get the jar open."

Jul 4, 2006 2:29 am Mood: amused, 804 Views | The time is near for me. The time to go to Spain for a well deserved vacation. So until that time I wish you, my devoted readers, a happy time and if you are also going for a summer vacation, then enjoy it as much as I undoubtedly will do. Until later.
